ABOUT US (Chair Prof. Dr. Peter Marti 1990-2014)
Mission Statement
The former chair of structural engineering - structural analysis and concrete structures was established in 1990. It's main focus lay on:
- teaching basic and advanced courses in the areas of structural analysis and structural concrete
- enhancing knowledge in these areas through combined theoretical and experimental research
- disseminating knowledge through work in code committees, continuing education courses, contacts with industry and the publication fo textbooks
- a comprehensive textbook on structural concrete is to be published in German and English.
