Development of a method for fire risk assessment in residential and industrial buildings
A research project jointly initiated by VKF "Union of Swiss Federal Fire Assurance Companies" and ETH Zurich is directed on development of a method for fire risk assessment in residential and industrial buildings. Within this research project a methodology of quantification of fire risks in residential and industrial buildings shall be developed. This method shall serve as guidance in practical implementation. The project will be executed in close cooperation with the chair of Steel, Timber and Composite Structures (Prof. Dr. M. Fontana).
